Gretty project dying/dead?

When using the jetty plugin you get a suggestion to use the gretty plugin instead.
It seems that this plugin is no longer being maintained.
I sent an email to the author Andrey Hihlovskiy on 12/14/16 and haven’t received a reply.

Should gradle be suggesting users to use a plugin that hasn’t seen activity in months?

The plugin needs a bit of a facelift and minor support.

What actions can be taken to resolve this problem?

Hi Jonathan,

I am returning to Gretty maintenance and further development this month. I will try to release new version of Gretty 1st of February.

I like your idea of creating “Gretty” organization. I’ll read about GitHub organizations to understand how it works.
