Who decides whether a question is answered?
Should it be the person asking the question (and a moderator) or…?
I think it is not always ok if the one answering the question marks it as answered. The person asking the question might have expected a ‘different’ answer.

Only moderators can mark questions as answered.
I thought there was a way for the OP to dispute the answer, just trying this out.
In my email notifiactions, I get this (with a link to mark the question as answered):
Luke Daley , an employee of Gradle, replied to Who decides whether a question is answered?, a question about Gradle.

It turns out this isn’t supported but is planned.
