Plugin that was already approved now needs approval again?

I’m not sure what i did?
I think it was either:

  1. adding some new metadata into the jar
  2. test published a 1.4.1-SNAPSHOT version

but our previously approved plugin has become “Approval Pending” again after these actions.

looks like this was resolved by someone approving it. However I’m curious what change triggered the re-approval?
