As the documentation for setting proxy properties mentions that any reference about other proxy settings is welcome, and I’ve just needed to configure it, I’d like to add the following (quite obvious but they are not referenced in Oracle networking doc either)
The named parameters: http.proxyHost, http.proxyPort, etc are only useful for downloading dependencies from HTTP sites. When downloading jars from HTTPS sites like oss.sonatype.org is necessary to define the same properties but with ‘https’ rather than ‘http’.
