When should a proposal for a new Gradle feature be posted to the Forum and when should it be added as a JIRA issue?
Good question.
I’d say that good features (e.g. those that we surely want to implement) go to jira and… not so good features should go to forums 
Seriously, though, I think they should go to forums. Maybe the automation forums-jira will help with that.
For now, just post in the forums as it’s much more convenient to have discussion there. Once we’ve got the idea in shape then I’d say it’s time to open an issue.
We are still working on JIRA integration so this story will become clearer as time goes on.
