The Gradle team is pleased to announce the release of Gradle 2.8.
This release delivers performance improvements together with a collection of general fixes and enhancements.
With faster build script compilation and better memory management, Gradle 2.8 should be particularly beneficial for teams with very large builds, which can see a significant improvement in initial build times as well as incremental builds. All builds should benefit from some of the general performance improvements.
The Gradle TestKit continues to improve, with this release adding the ability to easily inject Plugin classes to test.
