Gradle 2.7-rc-2 is now available for testing

The Gradle team is pleased to announce the availability of the second release candidate for Gradle 2.7.

IMPORTANT A performance regression was introduced in the Gradle wrapper in Gradle 2.6. If you generated your wrapper with 2.6, we recommend that you regenerate your wrapper with 2.7.

Since 2.7-rc-1, this release fixes two issues:

  • GRADLE-2316 Received invalid response from the daemon
  • GRADLE-3338 Fetching artifacts from s3 backed repository fails with jdk8u60

Downloads and wrapper usage instructions are available at http://gradle.org/release-candidate. Please try Gradle 2.7-rc-2 with your projects and report any problems.
