The Gradle team is pleased to announce the release of Gradle 2.5. Check it out at https://gradle.org/downloads/.

This Gradle release contains many new features like the new “Continuous Build” or “Dependency Substitution rules”. “Continuous Build” brings the capability to have Gradle automatically initiate a build in response to file system changes. “Dependency substitution rules” make it possible to develop multiple related projects builds with more flexibility.

Just a note as well for anyone using version 0.9.0 of the plugin publishing plugin that 2.5 breaks it - we’ve released version 0.9.1 of that plugin which is compatible with 2.5.
