Eclipse Buildship Global gradle.properties not read

Gradle Version: 2.14.1, 2.14, etc…
Operating System: MacOSX 10.11.6

Setting a value in ~/.gradle/gradle.properties is not seen in the Eclipse project

Works fine for me. Did you maybe change the Gradle User Home location in Buildship?
