Duplicate emails

Is anyone else receiving duplicate email notifications of new forum topics? For example:

I have received 11 copies of http://forums.gradle.org/gradle/topics/provide_a_hook_after_startparameters_are_resolved_but_before_the_task_graph_is_built (in the space of 10 minutes)

And 21 copies of http://forums.gradle.org/gradle/topics/sonar_3_2_with_gradle_1_2rc1_mssing_classes_for_findbugs (over almost 6 hours)

These seem to be completely equivalent “new topic” notifications. Neither topic has any responses yet.

Yes, for several days now. 5 of everything until today where I got 10+ of some.

If it helps… this started happening the morning of September 4th for me. And as the OP says, started going even crazier this morning.

28 duplicates and counting now… it’s getting pretty ridiculous.

I’m going to disable this account’s email so that I stop getting spammed by gradle forums. Can you guys send an announcement e-mail to the mailing list when e-mail is behaving again?

Actually, just in case it matters if someone tries to debug this… it’s actually this account that was getting spammed. (Which despite the user name is a different account… and my “real” one.)

We are doing everything we can about this. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

I’ll post something to the mailing list when it is resolved, which will hopefully be soon.

This seemed to be resolved as of several days ago. Which matches the information regarding a “temporary measure” in the GS post referenced by Rene.

But the duplicates have restarted for me, maybe around 6 hours ago. Same exact symptom: multiple new topic notifications (way more than 5 per topic).

Dan, This has returned for me and I have escalated to the forum support.
