At the 2016 Gradle Summit, we introduced Gradle Build Scans. A Build Scan is a permanent, centralized and shareable record of a build that makes it easier than ever to deeply understand and optimize your build, collaboratively. For more information on Build Scans, please see https://gradle.com.
Prior to the introduction of Gradle Build Scans, we piloted a similar service in beta under the name “Gradle Build Receipts”. This service will be fully decommissioned on Friday 26th August. It has been entirely superseded by Gradle Build Scans. The decommissioning only affects you if you previously used the now outdated Build Receipt service.
If you have any issues or concerns about the decommissioning of Gradle Build Receipts, please let us know by replying here or by sending an email to help@gradle.com.
If you have not previously used Gradle Build Receipts and have only used Gradle Build Scans, you will not be affected by this change.
If you haven’t tried Gradle Build Scans yet, we encourage you to do so today. It only takes a few minutes and we’d love to get your feedback. Visit https://gradle.com to learn more.
