I’m considering posting here to ask whether the Gradle team might have any interest in an official Agent Skill for Gradle.
I’ve already built one myself based on the current Gradle documentation, and it is still in the stage of personal testing and iteration. So this is not meant as a polished proposal yet, but more as an exploratory question.
My motivation comes from a practical issue I’ve noticed: Gradle is extremely flexible, which is one of its strengths, but that flexibility can also make it harder for people to know how to use the APIs Gradle already provides correctly. In practice, understanding the right way to call and combine those APIs often becomes part of the barrier to using Gradle effectively.
That made me wonder whether something like an official Agent Skill could be useful in the future, especially as a way to help people interact with Gradle more accurately and idiomatically.
I’d be very interested to know whether this is something the Gradle team has thought about, or whether it is completely outside the scope of what you would want to support officially.
