Separate output folders in Eclipse classpath

Continuing the discussion from Output folder of sourceSet when running eclipseClasspath:

I’m tinkering with using gradle’s eclipse plugin to keep my .project & .classpath files up to date. Everything seems to be going ok except for 1 thing I can’t seem to figure out - when the eclipseClasspath task executes it generates src classpathentry’s for all of my source sets but it doesn’t seem to generate an “output” attribute on the classpathentry element.

It looks like GRADLE-879 was filed after that discussion and marked “fixed”. Is the best solution still to manipulate the XML content of the generated .classpath file, or does Gradle model this part of the Eclipse build better now?

That JIRA says it was fixed in gradle 0.9. I reported it in some 1.x version (don’t remember which one) – so apparently my question still remains. Our internal plugins we’ve built on top of gradle fix it, so I have not tested removing our fix. We are still on Gradle 1.11.

Thanks! I don’t see any indication that the model has changed, but I wanted to check in case it was squirreled away somewhere unexpected in the docs.
