Remove class from Dependent FatJar

I got 2 dependencies in my Gradle project

  1. a fatJar included using fileTree option.
  2. Fasterxml Jackson dependency 2.4.6
    Now,
    The fatjar also includes older version of Fasterxml Jackson.
    I want to exclude that and use my 2.4.6 version.

Any suggestions on how I can override ?
