build.gradle build.log Tested on 2.0 and 2.1-20140707220025 with an existing URL that worked on 1.12.

We’ll endeavour to get this fixed for 2.1.

Hey, this should be fixed now in master. Can you give the latest nightly build (http://www.gradle.org/nightly) a try and confirm the fix?
