The STS Gradle plugin for Eclipse has always been free but it hasn’t been open source. We are very excited that this has changed. Thanks a lot to SpringSource for making it open source. Thanks again to Andy Clement and Kris De Volder from the STS team for their great work.
A couple of other parties have shown interest in contributing to the Gradle Eclipse plugin once it is open source. I’m now looking forward to more contributions also from the Gradleware team, better integration testing and and even better collaboration with the STS team as their code is now in the open.
