At some point long, long ago, I added longfile = ‘gnu’ to my Tar task, I think because I was hitting the 100 char file limit. This might have been back when gradle was using the Ant tar task under the hood.

I just noticed, via the deprecated dynamic properties warning, that there is no longer a “longfile” property on the Tar task.

So, is there support for long filenames in Tar? I am assuming so or I think I would have seen warnings. Hopefully this is automatic and I no longer need to worry about it?
