Using Gradle Script to import source code for a project

I’m new to using Gradle, so please bear with me.

I have a java/gradle project, that is dependent on two (or more) other seperate java/gradle projects. I would like to use a gradle script to automatically import the source code for these projects (rather than just grabbing the jars at build time). Is this something that Gradle can (or should) do, and if so, could someone point me towards a tutorial or documentation on how to do so?

Any help is highly appreciated!

If you mean you want to edit the projects along in the IDE and want the dependencies automatically compiled when you compile the consumer to develop changes parallel in both projects, then Composite Builds are what you are after.

If that is not what you want, you probably have to elaborate a bit more on what you want to achieve.
