GradleMainWorker quit unexpectedly

I have recently upgraded to Gradle 2.4, and I have started to regularly see The GradleMainWorker application failing. The CPU goes to 125%, and then either I kill the application or the operating system quits the applications.

This happens during the testing phase of a multi-module project. It is generally not the first test phase that fails, but it appears to be random between two of the test phases of the larger modules.

This did not appear to happen under Gradle 2.3, only since upgrading Gradle to 2.4.

Running “gradle --version” gives:

------------------------------------------------------------
Gradle 2.4

Any ideas? What other information do you need? Is anybody else experiencing these problems?

I would’ve attached the Apple generated report from the crash, for what it’s worth, but apparently new users aren’t able to add attachments.

Cheers, S t u a r t .
