Gradle Custom Plugin (Kotlin) fails with OOME

I try to build a new custom gradle plugin in Kotlin. I use Android Studio IDE, CircleCI as CI and MacOs as dev platform.

So it’s a gradle plugin for building React Native Applications.

Questions:

  • Functional Tests fail with OutOfMemory. After increasing the number of tests in the project, CI start to fail with OOME exception. I try to set lower memory limits, and I try to stop the daemon, etc. - no luck. And it reproduced now in 100% cases. At the same time, local PC environment allows running all tests without any problem. Can you give any suggestions on how to solve that?
  • Any good example of fully functional gradle plugin project written in Kotlin (with tests, publishing, documentation, etc.)?

During the execution of the functional tests, gradle create a fork for each test and keep them in memory until the end of Test Suite Execution.
