Grade wrapper clean up

(Leander Kurscheidt) #1

Hi, i am using grade-wrapper inside my dockerfile to build my application automatically on docker-hub. It produces a fat jar which is use as an entry point. It works really well, but the image tends to be rather big, because i don’t delete the downloaded dependencies, the gradle distribution etc. I don’t care when a fiew files survive, but i want to delete the big ones. I have not found a grade command to clean everything (only the build directory) and also no reference where the gradlewrapper downloads/extracts its files to. Where does gradle-wrapper store the gradle-distribution, the .zip file and the dependencies?

All these things are in the Gradle user home directory, by default under ~/.gradle
