I feel so lost. I have downloaded Android Studio just yesterday and have two problems.
- I try to get the Hello World App to run. I have no previous Android Studio experience.
I don’t know if I have to change settings or if something is installed at the incorrect place.
I get the following in the Run Window when I try to run it:
10:57:57 AM: Executing task…
Welcome to Gradle 5.1.1.
To run a build, run gradle …
To see a list of available tasks, run gradle tasks
To see a list of command-line options, run gradle --help
To see more detail about a task, run gradle help --task

BUILD SUCCESSFUL in 45s
1 actionable task: 1 executed
10:59:04 AM: Task execution finished.
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I am so new to this, I really don’t know what I should do.
- My second problem is that when I go to File>New>New Project one gets the Create New Project window, usually with options, but mine is empty, I can’t choose any Project:
This worked fine when I initially installed Android Studio yesterday, but while trying to figure out the problem I had then with trying to run, I came across a I think it was on Stack Overflow where someone suggested one deleting everything in the gradle wrapper folder and restarting the Android Studio then it downloads automatically, I no longer get the error message I got then while trying to run the Hello World App.
I would really appreciate if someone can lead me in the right direction to sort these two problems.
Thanking you in advance.
